This particular loaded pickguard is benchmarked against a 2004 John Cruz Masterbuilt SRV “Number One” Strat® (Serial Number JC218). It is a pre-assembled offering and is ready to ship, as will be the case for all future “Builder’s Reserve” series of pickguards.
– The pickups are our own DFW set (“Builder’s Reserve” Special Edition) and they are 1:1 in frequency responses to the original pickups in JC218.
– The wiring scheme is also matching the original with proper parts, cables and hand-selected pots. Aging/relic was done to parts where deemed necessary.
You won’t find anything quite as authentically SRV as this as a standalone product. We only put something in the “Builder’s Reserve” series because we believe it should exist, and that it is as good as it gets.
